Advice wanted on getting rid of Michael Thomas

10 team keeper league, standard scoring

First of all I fully realize I probably have some psychological mental block bc he's been out all year. The last few years I've kept Josh Jacobs and Michael Thomas. MT has been excellent for me but my RB2 slot has generally been pretty poor, and RBs are always kept in our league. Heading into this year's draft all the big name RBs youd' expect were kept, so on draft night the top 3 RBs on the board were CEH, Joe Mixon, and Austin Ekeler. Unfortuantely I took ekeler who is also hurt, which I realize probably further contributes to my mental state here.

Anyways...like I said most people in our league have 1 elite RB and generally a really damn good 2nd one and those are the teams routinely at the top. I'm pretty much done of this season so one of my biggest priorities is making sure I have a good keeper situation into next season. I hate the thought of dropping MT since for all I know he could ball out once he gets back, but I know Brees is a shell of his former self.

My first question is...am I insane for wanting to get rid of MT in a keeper league? If I'm not insane and it's worth exploring, my big question is what level of RB should I draw the line? I won't even ask CMC owner bc that's a definite no. Saquan's owner I'll ask but that'll surely be a no. Zeke..I know on this board it's been mentioned wanting to get rid of him since he will suck the rest of this year but would it be a good idea to at least grab him and keep for next year? Kamara/Henry/Chubb/Cook, etc...I guess what I'm asking is if I start at the top of the RB list and work my way down, at what point would you draw the line and say "it's not worth getting rid of MT for [player]"?
