AB owners. You holding him or trying to deal him?

I'm thinking this situation will blow over Kobe-style but you never know.

NFL can and will still suspend him

Hold. This is a civil suit that rests on the evidence of an email written in broken ebonics. She'll get hush money or a counter suit for extortion.
I'm waiting on him to have a big game before I deal. His value is in the gutter right now, but he will frick up before the end of the season. Wait it out for that big game performance

Would be the first time they did that for a civil suit

Without evidence?

Violation of personal conduct policy? I could have sworn someone else had been suspended for something similar

That's a good way to get a terrible return. Yeah sure, field offers but you'll likely be low-balled.

Who?
As of right now the AB situation seems like a classic "he said, she said" scenario. I'm not victim blaming but don't you find the timing of this lawsuit kind of ironic. This news comes out at the peak of AB's crazy shenanigans and the woman says that it happened on three occasions. Why would you go back not once but twice after a supposed sexual assault took place? The timing of this combined with the fact that she willfully chose to go back TWICE just screams money grab.

So with the info that is out now you think there's more risk in trading him than keeping him?
As of now I have 3 WR starting spots and a RB/WR flex in PPR. My WRs: AB, Diggs, DJ Moore, Josh Gordon, and James Washington.

Falls under criminal activity only
Only thing they can do is put him on the exempt list while it plays out, which they didn’t do with Tyreke so it’ll be interesting to see how they will handle it
Posted on 9/11/19 at 5:25 pm to wildtigercat93
Didn't they basically have evidence in the Tyreek case too being the kid had a broken arm and he basically admitted to it on the phone recording?
There is also no police investigation in the AB case and the chick is suing him in civil court not trying to get him convicted. Which tells me it's all about getting a payout.

Certainly was more evidence and history with the Tyreke situation.
But these things are always all over the place with goodell so it’s hard to look for precedent.
If they don’t place him on the exempt list within the next week or two, then I’d say he will play all season. They have an interview scheduled with the accuser next week

Didn't Kobe actually rape someone though? This is just some dumb greedy bitch tryna make a few dollars while AB is the NFL Boogeyman.
Zeke was accused of rape just last season, did he get fined/suspended/miss any time?
I think the NFL is taking a more serious approach to these gold digging whores and their attempts to extort star players.
Which is the honorable thing to do.

What is the statute of limitations on "busing" on a woman's back without her consent
how does that blow over with AB admitting that in an email?

No reason to deal him now, you invested high draft capital in him and his value is in the gutter. Stick it out, see what happens.
Posted on 9/11/19 at 6:10 pm to Thias2685
Holding. He won't be suspended this year. Though he's still a risk to frick up in some other way cause he's a head case. But cashing out you won't get near the upside, and you're probably just settling for mediocrity. So I'd rather swing for the fences and hold a possible real difference maker.

At least that's how I deciphered that very first line.

Also, can't believe I just typed the above in a FF forum. Guess that's what it's come to.

the suit claims Brown masturbated behind Taylor and ejaculated on her back. The lawsuit says Taylor, whom Brown met at Central Michigan University and later hired as a trainer, was unaware of what Brown was doing behind her and did not realize what had occurred until she felt a wet spot on her back.
from the email
"i jack my dick on your back!"
"... me and ____ laugh about this shite me busing on your back "
im not going to pretend to know what happened but my interpretation was he snuck up and nutted on her. why mention it twice and why are he and whoever laughing about it
Posted on 9/11/19 at 6:41 pm to GynoSandberg
Yeah. It doesnt help the actual messages are plastered in the lawsuit
