5th Overall pick in PPR league, torn on who I will pick and who's available

I'm assuming that Barkley, Zeke, McCaffrey, and Kamara will be the top 4. I don't think any of the guys will be brave enough to take Mahommes with a top 4 pick. Heck I don't want him with number 5.
Some of the rankings have David Johnson 5th (are you kidding me) I took him last year and got BURNED big time with his lack of production early and kept him WAY too long before trading him.
Will Gurley catch more passes? Will Gordon stay Healthy?
Both are considerations at number 5.
Should I roll the dice with Le'Veon Bell? He should be refreshed after sitting out all of last year but can he put up good numbers for the Jets?
What do you guys think? I feel I have to go with RB first.

DJ.
I remember when Forte burned people one year then the next he was back to normal. Last year is last year.

Tough.
I agree, you should go RB here. Obviously if any of those 4 listed drop you jump on it right away.
If we're looking between DJ, Gurley, Bell or Gordon... I might have to lean DJ. You have to assume that offense will be completely different w/ KK calling the shots and a mobile Murray

Do you think Kingsbury's offense will use the RB that much out of the backfield catching passes? I'm not sold on Murray at QB for Arizona he's going to have growing pains and I'm not sure that DJ will get 20 combined touches a game rushing and receiving.
Bell, Gurley and Gordon will all get 20-30 touches a game.
DJ had one great year in 2017 but what makes fantasy exerts think he will repeat the success from that year?

He wasn't used last year. When he was used correctly he was as complete a back as anyone else in the league.
New coach that likes to run wide open + new QB that thrives in a wide open system leads me to believe DJ will get his.
I think some forgot how well he can catch out of the backfield due to the injury season & last year being such a mess.

If you're making that assumption for Gurley, then your choice is Gurley. Most are down on him this year because they don't think he'll get the same number of touches.
I think Gordon & DJ will have equal work loads. However, Gordon's backup proved himself to be a great change of pace last year. I'm not sure DJ has that same luxury.
I have no idea what to expect from Bell this year. That's enough reason for me to take one of the other 3 candidates.
The remaining RBs are so close to one another I'd ultimately go with my gut. If I went against my gut and select a guy someone else recommends and he busts I'd be sick.

I’m going with Bell at #5
Fresh legs and tons of touches.
