Worth taking a flyer on Claypool?

Will this negatively impact Waddle?

Should make Tua slightly better yes?

I doubt you need to add him unless you're playing in a 16-team league or deeper. They're probably just adding depth at the position. I can maybe see them using him as a red zone target due to his size and since their TEs suck.

For the CMCers...

No Elijah Mitchell at the beginning of 49ers’ final practice before the Cowboys game. All good on the other injury fronts for SF

Sources to ESPN: Jonathan Taylor and the Colts reached agreement on a three-year, $42 million contract extension, including $26.5M guaranteed, that makes him one of the league’s highest-paid RBs and clears him to make his season debut Sunday vs. Titans.

Taylor becomes the first RB to land a long-term deal worth $10 million or more per year since Nick Chubb in 2021 — almost 800 days ago.

After months of animosity, Colts owner Jim Irsay, GM Chris Ballard, exec Mike Bluem and Taylor’s representatives Malki Kawa and Ethan Lock finally came together and successfully negotiated a contract extension. Each side gets what it wants.

A new contract doesn't mean an unleashed Jonathan Taylor. I was told the Colts are going to be smart with his usage considering he hasn't played since last year because of his ankle. The Colts will have him on a count & ramp up his workload over the next month, per source

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson, listed as questionable with a thigh injury, is expected to play in Sunday's game vs the Saints, per sources.

It also sounds like CB J.C. Jackson, acquired from the Chargers this week, will play in the game. (He didn't need to learn the defense.)

Bears RB Khalil Herbert is expected to miss multiple weeks because of the ankle injury he suffered Thursday night against the #Commanders, per sources.

With Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) also ailing, it could be D’Onta Foreman time for Chicago.

Lions WR Jameson Williams is expected to play a limited role — maybe around 20 snaps — in his return from suspension today vs. Carolina, per sources.

They’ll ease him back in on a day RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) aren’t expected to play.

Saints QB Derek Carr, listed as questionable with a right shoulder injury, will play today, source said. He's in a better place health-wise than last week after that AC joint sprain.

- Ian Rapoport

There are no expected limitations on Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp, who will make his season debut today vs. the Eagles after spending the first four weeks on injured reserve due to a calf injury, per sources.

Broncos say they want to work out RB Javonte Williams, who is questionable with a quad injury, in pre-game warmups before deciding whether or not he can play Sunday vs. the Jets.

- Adam Schefter

The #Giants are not expected to have RB Saquon Barkley in today's game against the #Dolphins, sources say. Still dealing with that high-ankle sprain, it doesn't appear he's quite ready. But closer.

- Ian Rapoport

Lions’ WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) and RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring), both listed as doubtful for today, are not expected to play vs. the Panthers. WR Jameson Williams, who is listed as questionable and is coming off his gambling policy suspension, is expected to play vs. the Panthers, per source. The team already had ruled out rookie CB Brian Branch due to an ankle injury.

He was finally coming on. And all because fields sucks. Went from a 30-40 yard reception (of fields doesn’t suck) to missing two weeks.

I need to decide between Williams and Sutton in a deeper league with 3 WRs. Thanks for this update.
