I'm not sure it is. He seemed like he was doing pretty well in Detroit and I'm always skeptical that a player can come right in and put up stats. (CMC aside)

Wondering if this affects Jefferson at all.

I think it is good news for Hockenson. Here are his targets and receptions per game this year in Detroit. Keep in mind many of these games their WR corps have been absolutely depleted, so I was expecting more from him.
(targets listed first, then receptions)
Week 1: 7, 4 (dud)
Week 2: 7, 3 (dud)
Week 3: 4, 3
Week 4: 12, 8 (this was the game all their starting WRs were out)
Week 5: 4, 1 (dud)
Bye
Week 7: 5, 4 (meh)
Week 8: 4, 3 (meh)
He's averaging 5 targets per game if you remove his week 4 outlier. Clearly any situation could be better than this.

That doesn't matter at all. Chase Edmonds had 13 carries over his last 4 games. Since week 2 he's been averaging like 4 touches per game. That's not going to boost Mostert's stock haha. He's already the bellcow there regardless of who his backup is.
