Everyone please go vote on the latest poll if you haven't done so already.

Thanks.

I know of one person that voted no, and said it was because of the wording. He felt that if it only took one person to object to bring a trade to a vote, then there's no use in changing the rule, because he will more than likely object to every trade anyway.

I don't think its necessary. Its one fricking day.

I have seen the shady arse shite tgats happened in DAT as a result of a non uniform method for trades to go thru and I didnt like it.

Valid.

Not valid.
1. Every trade is still up for a vote if its determined that there needs to be.
2. This ain't DAT. It's TDBL, and everyone in this league has built a reputation that isn't shady, except when Knat made that trade with his buddy before he quit the league. But, he's gone.

No. Rule changes occuring DURING the season require 75%, and rule changes in the offseason require 67%.

New Rules require majority.

This is all in the constitution for reference, btw.

Ok

I am fine either way...I do tend to prescribe to a "if it aint broke dont fix it" philosophy though.

I can see that.

This isn't a vote that I feel strongly about one way or the other. I trust everyone in this league to not collude for the most part, and if they do, I'm fairly confident that we can sniff that shite out and stop it from happening.

That being said, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" is also a good philosophy to have.

Must be the guy who objects to every trade

I kinda got that feeling after he told me that. I won't reveal who it is though, since he told me in confidence. If he wants to out himself, then he has the power to do so.

Fwiw...I think if we dont have a consistent manner to handle trades it allows for axes to grind and petty shite like that.

There shouldnt be opinions on how rules are applied...it should be in black & white imo
