I would like to trade a 1B for an OF. Would be willing to include Ubaldo for a 2-2 or 2-3 type deal. Hit me up if interested.

I'm convinced you both woke up and agreed to start shite for no reason. Do you want me to revoke the trade? Tell me.

Imagine that. Just when LE decided to roll out the rack and get the day started.
his caveat was they they be mandated to last round picks
i wonder what was the change of <3
re: 2011 TDBL Keeper Thread (Posted on 3/17/11 at 10:54 p.m. to Honkus)
IMO if u get extra picks they should be last round

I'm not even around him. I read the thread this morning at work about Honkus getting picks for free and was kind of baffled that it was going on.
Then when I got home, I searched for the original thread and saw that you had said you wouldnt be giving the picks back. I assumed that meant giving picks away similar to what was done today. I guess it's different if you ask.

I am more than willing to put it up to a vote if you think it's that big of a deal. Since it's a new rule, it would only require majority to pass.
I would word it like this.
Is it ok to trade draft picks for nothing in return? The trade would still be required to go through a voting process just like any other trade.
Just say the word and I'll do it. I'll also start a separate poll to potentially veto the outstanding trades that are pending now.
I'll honor any request for voting that any owner puts out there. Always have. Always will.

Look redd, I'm not trying to give you a hard time about this shite. I was just trying to clear things up since we had talked about it 4 months ago. At that time, it seemed pretty cut and dry to me that there was no way to get picks back. I was missing 6.. count em 6.. draft picks. I went through the traditional (and fair, IMO) means to acquire those said picks back. Take a look at my trade transaction page. I worked hard and made some deals that I wasn't necessarily excited about making. But I knew I had to get those picks back. I didn't ask for someone's extra picks, for I thought that was over and done with.
We all consider this the best, most competitive fantasy baseball league. But then DATBL-like bullshite like calling for redrafts for the new owners and now giving them free picks just because their team sucks jeopardizes the competitiveness and "build your own keeper team the traditional way" mantra that we should follow. It's a keeper league. You are only as strong as your team. Work needs to be done to improve it, that's the challenge. We do enough to cater the shitty owners through the draft. They chose to be shitty year in and year out.. to not answer trade offers, to not scour the waiver wire, to not interact with other owners for trades, to not set their lineups etc. What are gonna do to improve it without the "government handouts"? Here it is, let's see what you can do.

Yeah rouge is so smart. I fell out of bed and felt like saying something. nope, we didn't talk about this months ago.
And it's funny what you people think you know about people. Dont You sell tires for a living? You really want to get personal?
You guys have a hard time accepting any type of simple talk like this? Always have to get upset and shite. Pretty ridiculous. You were all ready to make a bunch of rules a few months ago. Now you are flip flopping cause you cant think for yourself. As a league we are leaving ourselves wide open for any type of gray area involving trades like this. Might as well put something in place.
I think we can all agree something simple like "only 16 Rd picks can be traded for nothing". Otherwise we open up for a world of scenarios. Just because you are too simple minded
to realize now doesn't mean down the road it won't come up.
Simply saying "veto it" is not reliable considering some of the people in this league

I don't think less of you for getting to sleep in, Les. Do you.
I think we need to put something in place that if you trade a pick, you should get one in return. I think it's reasonable and it should put an end to this crap.

yes.
I guess it's too much to assume someone wouldn't go and give a team a draft pick because they don't have one.
honestly, just think about that. You are giving a team (who you are competing against, mind you) a free pick because they don't have one
