I said this from the beginning.
He was not as well known as Trump around the country. And the democrats would have used the same tactics that may have actually worked because people dont have 30 year old videos of Desantis. they may have been able to sell hes a nazi worse than Trump better.
They have a conspiracy going around that Vance will be the president and is a worst fascist than Trump. They went after Vance hard, but he was able to defend himself well in the media. You need that with such a hostile media.

Yea but even when all of that was happening none of the hardcore Ronbots came back or said much about it. Some were still secretly wanting a Trump loss and you will never convince me otherwise.
O.k., fair enough.
Like I said, I was not one of those people and it's not my job to defend them.
I'm just saying that this was the craziest presidential race EVER. Think about all the historic stuff that happened.
The Democrats literally tossed out the candidate they elected in the primaries. Has that ever happened before?
And then they installed a candidate who—despite having run—has never won a single delegate. Again, that may be an historic first.
The Republican candidate is an (almost) convicted felon (and yes, I know it's BS and will be overturned, but still). That's definitely never happened before.
And he was shot...not shot at...SHOT...while campaigning. That's an historic first.
I was always going to vote for Trump, but he was never my preferred candidate. At this point I think it's difficult to deny that he is the candidate of Destiny in this election. He is a man of these times and there's no way to reasonably deny it.
It's difficult for me to believe that those of you who wanted Trump all along could see that...it seems more likely that he was just your preferred candidate. But if I'm wrong and you could see with foresight what the rest of us can only see in hindsight, then a sincere kudos to you.

I said several Republicans could win but I didn't think Trump could.
I was wrong, and glad of it.

I’ve called him our Teddy Roosevelt. So many of us could see he was this man of destiny.

Remember when several of you on here said only Ron could win?
Good times had by all who didn't waver in our convictions

Lemme guess, "let the healing begin"
