It doesn't bother me. I'd rather we have decent relations with Russia than hostile relations.

However, Putin is a seasoned politician. He has a very Russia-centric world vision.

Is he reaching out to Trump because he's worried Trump won't put up with his aggressive behavior, or is he reaching out to Trump to begin his manipulation of Trump?

I Imagine all world leaders are reaching out to the new president of the lone superpower for influence. The media will jump on Russia because of the recent politics but meh.

Ive always argued that Trump's thin skin and ego are excellent tools for manipulation and Putin knows that. Coupled with the sanctions and embargoes and you have a recipe for a pro-Trump Putin.

He's reaching out to Trump because any idiot knows this planet is better off when Russia and the US are on the same page.

That was never gonna happen with reckless Hillary who openly called Putin an evil dictator in her speeches. shite even Van on the CNN panel last night was referring to Russia as our "enemy."

Respect

Putin knows what's been going on with Clinton in the Middle East.

Exactly. It's better for both of us and the world if we are on good terms and let each-other be rather than trying to start a war, which was Hillary's goal.

Yeah this.....there is no reason we shouldn't be on the same page with Russians on most issues....

Gosh, with 91% of the media stories negative about him, he's so thin skinned to attack back. Why can't he just sit there and take it?

Yes, the guy who was strong enough of character to literally go against the entire establishment, media, and elite is going to be putty in Putin's hands. We'll install a Spetznaz office in the rose garden.

Yes Trump has already showed he isn't intelligent by winning the arepublican nomination against a billion dollars of negative ads against him, a biased media, a rigged election and a 20% chance to win.

Keep believing he doesn't know what he's doing.

That is his fricking job! It is the very view he is supposed to have; he is the leader of Russia... not the leader of the UN.

The head of England should have an England-centric view, the head of China should have a China-centric view... ... ...

If the President of the US for the past 8 years had cared more for the US than this "we are the world" bullshite (or his own damned party), if he had spent more time propping up America rather than "change" for the betterment of the world, then the US (and the World) would be in a much better place.
