Statistically, it's possible, but the point should be moot since you said it doesn't happen anyway.
You're new to this conversation, so I'll lay it out slowly.
There are many types of voter fraud - e.g. registration fraud, mail-in fraud, and in-person fraud.
We have some amount of the first two of those, but almost none (31 out of over 1 Billion votes cast over 12 years per 1 look) of the third type - in-person voter fraud.
Voter ID laws only prevent this third type of fraud, in-person fraud, and are thus superfluous. They're a solution in search a problem, and server only to suppress minority vote. In no way do they prevent fraud (because the type of fraud they prevent doesn't exist in the US).
Clear now?

Stick with what the appeal court actually said and stop lying. Would really help your credibility. As is, you look like a disingenuous liar and a hack.

What it likely does is suppress minority votes in Louisiana
Now you're just making it up to fit your racist narrative. There are black politicians all over this state. Dems run NOLA and Baton Rouge. We alternate Dem and republican governors.

Gladly!

A federal appeals court has struck down North Carolina’s voter identification law, holding that it was “passed with racially discriminatory intent.”
quote:
"The record makes clear that the historical origin of the challenged provisions in this statute is not the innocuous back-and-forth of routine partisan struggle that the State suggests and that the district court accepted," Judge Diana Motz wrote on behalf of Judges James Wynn and Henry Floyd. "Rather, the General Assembly enacted them in the immediate aftermath of unprecedented African American voter participation in a state with a troubled racial history and racially polarized voting. The district court clearly erred in ignoring or dismissing this historical background evidence, all of which supports a finding of discriminatory intent."
quote:
"We cannot ignore the record evidence that, because of race, the legislature enacted one of the largest restrictions of the franchise in modern North Carolina history," Motz added.
quote:
"The district court clearly erred" when it found a lack of discriminatory intent and when it deemed North Carolina's interests in passing the law to be compelling, she wrote.

Once again, why don't you want minorities to get an ID? Why is that such a huge problem?

Here in Maryland I go up and tell them my name, they ask for my address and I give them that and then they give me my card to go vote. So the information I need to vote can be found on any piece of mail or in any white pages. Surely any rational person can see how this is open to fraud?
Unless of course someone wants that fraud. But here in Maryland the last poll has Hillary up 36, so it doesn't really affect us, and I'm sure it never happens in those precincts in PA where Romney didn't receive even one vote in 2012...

I'd love for them all to get an ID, for free, whenever they want. That also includes making the precursor documents free.
Alas, Republicans aren't on board with that. In the absence of free IDs, I'm not a fan of using IDs as a substitute poll tax to prevent minority voting.
