the GOP needs to shite out its spine and undergo a reformation to become more libertarian

This.

To all the people claiming this election is the end of conservatism, it may be, in the traditional sense. Small-government Libertarianism and someone who believes in it and can articulate it is the future of "conservatism" if it is to have a future. Our youth increasingly want freedom. Progressivism is too restrictive to become generally accepted among young people. As technology advances and information can't be bottlenecked by the government through the media, the overbearing antiquated politics of today and yester-year will look more and more ridiculous to upcoming generations.

Americans voted for who they wanted to represent them. It was a long drawn out process with mutiple candidates. Sorry your candidate didn't win.

Except for the fact that many registered independents did not get that chance. Louisiana is a closed primary state and independents were not allowed to vote in the primaries.

Don't you think that in an election where one candidate wants to go to war with Russia over Syria that the other candidates should be educated and conversant on the subject so they can explain why we SHOULDN'T?

Donald Trump is extremely ignorant on world affairs. He thought China was a part of the TPP. He had no idea what the nuclear triad is. Oh, and he had to be told by his advisers, more than a few times, why he cant use nuclear weapons.

Plus, you know, this like this... "I’m speaking with myself, number one because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things"

I couldn't vote for Johnson bc no way will I condone the Libertarian party putting up such an awful - and un-libertarian- candidate. They could have made a real difference this election with a decent candidate who support libertarian ideals.

People have tied "conservatism" to all these social issues, and now the fiscal ideals get lumped in with the far right social war on stupid shite like gay marriage.

We need to get back to "conservative" being about economic policy, which is basically what Libertarians define it as.

Cooter,

Your mental gymnastics in support of Trump in comparison to Johnson is awesome. Please don't stop.

Trump was right. He could literally shoot someone at a press conference and half this country wouldn't give a frick. It's amazing.

This is a good argument for not voting for anyone for president, not a good argument for Johnson.

You go ahead and vote for someone impossible to elect.

I'll vote for someone who stands a chance and who is willing and able to wreck shite with the present political order.

Just wanted to leave some Trump quotes here.

“My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and with attitudes and with feelings—even my own feelings—but I try.” — Lawsuit deposition, 2007, as quoted by The Atlantic, 2013

And you call Johnson mentally retarded?
