Globalism and technology left behind the middle class. Trump didn't create that, but he harnessed it.

Technology HELPS the middle "class". Regulations and taxes are what's destroying the middle "class".

So Trump's solution is to push the falsehood of trickle-down economics. Which will not raise wages for the middle class.

Exactly. The trade off of globalism is technological progress will replace the jobs that are outsourced. The jobs were outsourced, the owners of the company got filthy rich (income inequality rose) and the common man was left holding his dick.

All trump had to do was recognize it and talk about it. He did it and folks believe he has their best interests at heart.

The fix is much more complicated, but they didn't ask him to fix it tonight. They just asked him to recognize it and he did. Bigly.

Agree with the "globalism" part not the technology part.

The negative part of "globalism" is specifically multi-national corporations choosing to save a buck instead of saving an American family.

Globalism is such a detached term, though, as if it's some sort of hurricane we have no control over.

There are things we can do to bring more jobs home, lowering taxes and stopping regulating everything in sight being two of them.

Oh, I agree, but that's not been on the national radar until now.

Globalism has been expanding and going on for decades. This is the first time it's been called to be rolled back. In the largest economy in the world. That's going to reverberate
