Trailer

Not the best quality. Full episode

The Dynamite Kid earned worldwide fame with a riveting, self-sacrificing style, but violent confrontations outside the ring would destroy his family, his body and his legacy.

Episodes like this is why "Dark Side of Football" can never hold a candle to Dark Side of the Ring. There just isn't the level of psycho nutjob shite that goes on even in sports football that can compare to pro wrestling.

I didn't even remember Dynamite Kid as a Wrestler and barely even knew who he was before this episode, but he's like a million other former wrestlers who was just an absolute crazed piece of shite.

We could probably come up with 10-14 good episodes of crazed fools and shooting stars.

Johnny Football, Cecil Collins, Rolando McLain, Leonard Little, Aaron Hernandez, just off the top of my head.

Rae Carruth is clearly insane.

Anthony Smith is even more nuts and is a serial killer who was a top 15 pick and multiple year NFL starter.

Lawrence Philips is up there, as well as Kellen Winslow II

Obviously Aaron Hernandez

Then you have the guys who must have bizarre lives because they quit playing football just to get drunk and/or do drugs like Manziel, Justin Blackmon, Odell Thurman, and Josh Gordon.

Todd Marinovich going back a few years

The late Chris Henry and Pac-Man Jones are also unstable as hell.

Well that’s 12 episodes but the percentages of wrestlers is way higher (or at least was until a decade ago).

Very disappointed w/ this episode. It was the one I was most looking forward to, but also the one I was most disappointed with. They left SO much out. They didn't include nearly enough from his childhood/early days, they gave no background history on what led to the Jacques Rougeau incident, they left out so many other notorious stories about the things he did: Honky Tonk Man, setting fire to Harley Race's bed while he was asleep, Mitch Snow, Mike Davis, Bruce Hart, Brutus Beefcake, lighting Gypsy Joe on fire at the Tokyo McDonalds, abusing Matilda, breaking Jack Foley's daughter's legs to get more insurance $ ... I could go on and on. No Bret Hart interview, yet they included Lance Storm? What was the point of including Lance anyway? He made some comments at the beginning but never explained any of his reasoning and then disappeared. A rushed, poorly-edited episode.

This episode seemed like an opportunity missed.

The wrestling biographies on A&E, Dark side of the ring, and Wrestlings Lost Treasures have been a breath of fresh air and certainly nostalgic.

It will never be as good as it was in the 70s/80s/90s. These shows have opened a window to the dark side of wrestling, and in the Grizzly Smith episode, disgusting, criminal, and infuriating.

These shows are getting higher ratings than actual current wrestling programs.

I haven't watched more than 2 seconds of wrestling in 15 years, yet I watch all of these shows. I don't think that's how it's supposed to be.

They did mention that he was tagged with a young Chris Benoit after his split with Davey Boy. Looking back at DK’s style, which I didn’t remember from my childhood of watching wrestling, you can see that Benoit emulated DKs style.

I’m not even talking about the psychotic similarities
