New wine store next to White Star Market

Was at White Star last night, looks like they had some kind of event at this store going on. Stuck our heads in on our way out, it looks quite promising.

Owner also has the wine bar in White Star and previously worked at Blend. He’s a solid guy and knows his stuff. I’ll definitely be by to check it out next time I am in BR. I hope he the shop focuses on wines outside of just Napa cab

Owner used to be my boss. Really nice dude, and he seems to know his stuff. I find that Blend has the 2nd best wine list in the city, so I'm hopeful for this place.

How has business been at White Star? Have they had much turnover in the original vendors?

Yes. A few have opened up stand alone locations though which is kind of the point of a food hall.

We could barely find a place to sit last night, which was shocking for a Tuesday night. They've also got extra parking now at Lettermans next door which is where we had to park.

Anyone been to this new wine store yet? I was at a friends house last weekend they hosted a party with a few cheeses from this store and they were legit.

I've been there. Solid wine selection, owner was super helpful,cheese/meats were on point, and the prices were reasonable. I live in the area and this will be my go to.

Definitely checking them out then. That's a big thing for me that you definitely don't get at most stores in the city......someone actually helping you pick the right wine.

Which place is #1 for you?
I'm quite impressed with 3 Tails so far. They have so much wine that I can't find anywhere else in Baton Rouge, and the owner has been super friendly and helpful. He seems to love when you ask for rec's.
There's also a lot more than Napa cab...
