We are going to the Saints@Denver game and really wanted to white water raft as it is a fricking blast but season is over. We are looking at fly fishing or a relatively cheap guided hunt(AKA no buffalo, elk shite )

What is a good price for a guided hunt like this? One site I've seen is $150 a gun plus $20 a bird you shoot. Not sure what the limit is but it seems as if we could end up racking up a nice bill

around here in GA, most places are $250 per gun, includes dog, guide, 6 pheasant or 12 quail for half day. tip, gun, and ammo are extra, two shooter minimum

Neck: I have a friend that is involved with pheasants forever and he lives in Denver. Let me hit him up and see what you'd be looking at. I'll text you.

He just invited me on a SD pheasant hunt in three weeks but I can't make it happen.

Drought was brutal over there on wild birds. It looks like you are looking for pen raised, but wild is where it is at. For pen raised pheasant is better than quail...

I have been to Kansas the past two years for wild birds. Just me and the dogs on public land but a wedding and drought is going to stop that tradition this year...

I might have to head to SD next year, just hate to drive that far with the dogs. That is 2 extra days of traveling and 2 days less hunting...

Making the same trip to Mile high too. Check out Quail Run, about an hour southeast of Denver. We "hunted" pen raised pheasant there once with club dogs. Price is prob $250 a person, up to a certain number of birds.

Also Kiowa Creek is very close to Denver airport and may even be cheaper.
