Cody Jinks will be at the auditorium in Shreveport Saturday night. Looks like a sold out show. Anyone seen him live? What are his concerts like? The auditorium looks nice online. Is it a good venue?

Yes. Pretty damn awesome. His music translates extremely well to live concerts. His crowds usually drink all the beer a venue has, so be prepared to drink something other than your normal beer about halfway through the concert, or just buy them 6 at a time the first couple times you go to the concession stand.

I saw him last time he was in Shreveport and played Municipal. It was a great show and I'm sure this one will be too. Unfortunately I missed out when tickets went live and the secondary market prices are just a little too much than what I am willing to pay to see him again.
The venue is awesome. I love going to shows there. Just saw Tedeschi Trucks there last week.

Appreciate offer but will pass. I guess I should have been more specific with my pricing comment earlier. I'm spoiled and want lower level or floor tickets. Not paying $200 for those though.

Yes. Saw him the last time he played there. I love the venue. It's my favorite in Shreveport. His shows are pretty high energy and fun. Only thing about Municipal is that the seats in the upper level are pretty close together. If you're in Orchestra or Floor, you should be fine. Have fun!

The Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport is an underrated treasure. Great setting for live concerts.

Update:
The concert was great and the venue was pretty awesome, even from the balcony. My only complaint would be the concession and beer lines. Holy hell, it took 40 mins to get a beer. I would love to go see Cody again, preferably outside next time. Thanks for all the input!

I was at the TTB concert. Gary Clark, Jr up next. The Municipal is pulling in some great acts this year.
