Okay boys, I’m becoming mostly relaxed and ambivalent about the hire.

Of course I’d be happy with any A-lister like Riley, Fickell, Kelly, Fisher, or any surprise hire of Woodward’s.

I’d also be thrilled with a number of guys most here consider second-tier: Aranda, Napier, or Tucker. Any of these guys could win and win big at LSU.

I’m feeling like I did about the baseball hire—I’d have been happy with any number of candidates, including Johnson.

I trust Scott to do his due diligence in the interviews and like with Jay Johnson, we will be thrilled with the preseason moves of the newly hired football HC.

So have fun stressing out, all you guys who think your candidate alone will be successful and everyone else an absolute disaster.

I will have fun reading, watching, and enjoying the process. In Scott I trust.

That's a good attitude to have and probably the correct one to have.

Tucker would be a bad hire. Would be highly disappointed.

He’s a minority though so he’s already way ahead of other candidates

I’m not sure how you can say that at this point.

Look at how miserable he was at Colorado and his first season at Michigan State. He was terrible in the nfl as well.

What’s he done? Hasn’t beat one too 25 team this year. He shouldn’t even be considered for an elite job
