if that isn't being caught red headed, I don't know what is. If those numbers are correct, he went from averaging less than 4 posts a week in 11 years to 34 posts a week the past 5 years.

If he would have used the word anticipate that would have been better. You go over all the formations that are on tape and then you anticipate what they may do that isn’t on tape based on what they’ve already put on tape.

This is done everywhere. It happened in the nfl. With Brady the other day and he anticipated correctly. But guessing does sound bad

Retardedly strong

When he was hired, the plan was for O to have top notch coordinators and O would let them do their jobs. He inherited Aranda. Offensively, he had issues with Canada and that ended quickly. I think we can all agree that He lucked out in 2019.

What has started to become very clear is that O is unable to hire coordinators good enough to compensate for his shortfalls. The word is out that he’s difficult to work for. I imagine that he is a bull in a China shop and that doesn’t play well with adults who take their jobs seriously.

O’s story is more apologetic than anything else now. Sorry for Pelini…. Sorry that our offense didn’t click… sorry that we didn’t scheme well against this or that…. It’s a litany of sorry sorry sorry.

The truth has caught up to O. He’s a defensive line coach and a good recruiter. He does not coordinate that well with a lot of moving parts. He’s accomplished a lot more than most of us will ever do. As to head coaching though, we deserve the best that can be had and O isn’t it. That will become even clearer in the years to come when we see where he ends up. It won’t be as head coach of program like we have here. Not even close
