You mentioned me referencing Tyson Chandler...but failed to include the part about a decent jumper. Yes, Zion can play with a zero threat center. It still limits his and the rest of the teams options though. It doesn't make sense to settle for a non-shooter at any position on a Zion team. Hayes honestly doesn't need to be Giannis but he also doesn't need to be an Adams on the offensive end either. We need spacing to maximize our efficiency.

No, they arent. Not in terms of interchangeability and skill level they aren't.
Wiggins is a solid perimeter defender on a vet team and a mediocre offensive player that has only looked respectable when he is reigned in and put next to literally the greatest offensive player to potentially ever play the game.
On the Wolves he was the definition of empty stats.
Contrast that to BI who has been a legit 1st and second option drawing opposing teams best perimeter defenders and routine double teams. And despite that, he has two seasons of notably higher TS%(on much higher usage) than Wiggins has ever had in his career.
Wiggins is a utility role player, BI is an all star and near top 25 player(and at a much younger age).
