Fingerprinting for Concealed Permit update in OP

State police won't answer...
But I have my.permit and have for 10 years. Since this is my third I have to requalify and go through yhe entire process. Does anyone know if that means another set of fingerprints as well?
Update
After electronically filing, it was three days when I got my acceptance notice to pay and have my permit shipped.
This was a renewal.
That's incredibly fast.

Unless your permit has expired, you don't need to be fingerprinted again.
You have a 60 day "grace period" after expiration during which you can apply as a renewal. You can't carry during the "grace period," but if you apply for renewal before the end of that 60 day window, you don't have to get printed again.

Awesome.
It not out yet and I'll be taking my class/qualifying Saturday.
The only hangup was if I had to go on my day off Friday to get fingerprinted again.
So do all these notary crap have to be done again or just requalifying and the class?

Also not many people know this but if you're a veteran your CCW fees are waived. You only pay for the class.

JBE closed all state offices today for a rainstorm. You can get this done at your local SO.

There should be nothing to notarize anymore.
I’d recommend filing for renewal vial the online portal

It’s easy. All you have to do is upload your certificate of training if it’s a renewal and pay whatever you owe if anything.

Do the online renewal process ASAP after you get a fresh training certificate because state police are way behind on processing them. It can take several weeks, but I hear that is way faster than mailing paper. Once they okay your renewal application, they’ll send you an email and tell you to go online and pay the fee. Then it will be another several days or so before you get the card. So, again, apply as soon as you get your training certificate,

Or in my case, 5 weeks since payment and still no card. Nevertheless, I'm in contact w/ someone I'm hoping can help me.
