PXG 0211’s on sale bigly.

I’m not sold on PXG or hollow body irons.... but that deal is hard to pass up.

I took a chance and bought a set last year when the 0211s were on sale because of the pandemic. They offered military pricing to everyone through June I think. They are shite clubs and there’s a reason they are always on sale. Terrible feeling irons, and I was a half club shorter through the bag. Immediately returned them.
I looked at the current ones out of curiosity. Holy shite those lofts! The 5 iron is 21 degrees, 7 iron is 28, PW is 42
Might as well just put 13 drivers in the bag

I have the 0211s from last year.
Lofts are not strong, shafts are not long.
I like them ok, but I plan to GT fitted for Christmas and see what Club Champion thinks I should game.

I have the Gen 1 0311x and they’re fricken awesome. Feel great and are super forgiving. The 0211 line is their 2nd tier club. Haven’t heard a ton of great reviews on those. I really don’t like PXG’s branding or “ethos” but their premium line clubs (0311) are really well made.

I ordered the 2021 0211’s.... we shall see what’s what soon enough. I didn’t order them because they were PXGs or for “status”. They were simply the best deal of the majors i could find on a hollow body iron.

This is the automatic line anyone says when PXG is brought up. They might not be the best but some sure get a thrill in hating them.

It seems it would be prudent to point out its a bad product that you are paying double premium price for.
But a lot of people got taken to the cleaners and then realized it so they get super defensive if you point it out
