I’m a 7 handicap, but I have no answer for what happened today. Irons were especially bad. Everything thing was weak and flared to the right. (I’m right handed). Did everything I could think of to fix, but it stayed with me the entire round. Perplexed.

I get it. Same thing with me today through 13 holes. Figured it out on 14. Psycho scorecard. 5 birdies, 4 doubles, 6 bogeys and 3 pars. 2 of the pars were lip out birdie putts. All 5 birdies were < 2 foot putts. But I shot 79. I’m perplexed.

I walked 27 yesterday.

Best 9 was last 9.

I guess as Fatigue set in, I quit thinking and just looked at a target, and let go.

Earlier I was “thinking” and “trying” and “caring.”
That last 9 I did none of those 3 things.

Where is the line between caring too much and not giving a crap?

Those are especially frustrating days. There are 20 things that make your swing and if one of them is off and you can’t pinpoint it the round is frustrating.

In short, that’s gold.

Keep your left arm close to your chest through the backswing and until after impact; and let your arms and club work more left after impact.

Sounds like you're getting some disconnection with the left arm and chasing after the ball after impact.

This happened to me today. I had been shooting some of the best golf of my life the last few visits. Go out there today and I'm telling you I couldn't hit one straight to save my life. I was hooking, I was slicing, I was pushing, I 4 putted, it was awful.

Some days you got it some days you don't. I sure as frick didn't have it today.
