I can’t even imagine giving half a shite what the personalities on other shows are doing between commercials(maybe Wiley and Acho)

Back in the day, a friend of mine had one of the first satellite dishes. We were watching the Saints vs San Diego game and Terry Bradshaw was one of the announcers. When the game would go to commercial or half the screen would show one of the goalposts and you could still hear the announcers.
When the game went to half, Bradshaw went off. "This is f'ing hard to do. These 2 teams suck". And then went on a profanity laced tirade about all the coaches and players f'ups in the first half. He was serious but laughing while doing it because the other guy was laughing so hard. I became a Terry Bradshaw fan that day. He would make you laugh so much you would wind up with tears in your eyes
In the following weeks we would always tune in to halftime of the game he was calling. It was pure gold and why he is in the studio now.

It is amazing how entertaining something can be when instead creating scripted bullshite to provoke faux controversies you allow a few great players with BIG personalities to just be themselves.

The documentary series about Inside the NBA was very good, well until they got the point where it was all about race and BLM and addressing them on the show. I turned it off at that point.
