I think the MCU was wrong to NOT recast T'challa. That was too much of a rush decision. Even James Bond gets recast. I If some time would have been allowed T'challa could have been re-casted and it would have been fine.

I still say resurrect Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger and let him be redeemed as the next Black Panther. He was the last to drink the BP flower serum right? Didn’t T’challa also survive getting stabbed and falling off a cliff?

casting

Obviously holding out hope for Krasinski and Blunt to be in it as for Johnny my choice would be Dacre Montgomery aka Billy from Stranger Things

Not sure who I'd pick for Ben

John Cena is the obvious choice. Of course he'd either have to be retconned to be from Boston or Cena would have to really work on his Brooklyn accent and fake being a Yankees fan.

Jack Quaid. (Hughie from The Boys)

Never really read the comics but isn't Johnny supposed to be a cocky frat boy type? I know Dacre can pull it off super well not sure about Jack

Is Efron too old to be Johnny Storm? Seems like a good candidate

Depends on how young the MCU wants to make him, my guess is he'll be roughly early to mid 20s possibly Peter's college roomate that'd be some shite

That'd be a trip

Marvel is so good at keeping close to the chest and we're so far out...but gotta imagine one of the FF shows up in another film a la BP in Civil War. The hype/rumor machine may be unbearable if not

The Eternals is the film in the next phase I am most likely to skip.

Shuri is an annoying character even in small doses. She has none of the leadership, humility, and charisma T'Challa had. I just can't see her carrying a movie, it's going to get annoying very fast. She's a side kick/comedy relief at best.

Not to mention she weighs like 105 lbs. And couldn't she be challenged like TChalla was in combat without the heart shaped herb (if they bring that back)?

Slight hijack, but I really just started watching the Marvel movies besides seeing X-Men 1 and 2 and Iron Man when they came out years ago. I've watched Thor and Captain America. Should I just watch them in the order Disney+ has them in Phase 1, Phase 2, etc.?

Yes watch them by release date. Disney+ has them like this by phase. Just be aware that Hulk and Spiderman: Homecoming currently aren't on Disney+

GOG 3 and the GOG Holiday Special will be Gunn's last work with GOG
Wonder if GOG 3 will be last in franchise and no more Pratt

Probably riding the Chloe Zhao wave, but honestly, that's a loaded cast too.

I'm pretty excited for it

The betting parlors put in on the board because of the director's Oscar win. That's the buzz.

When you look at the other films, you can see they're going by the directors, who've all won or been nominated multiple times previously. Speilberg, Wes Anderson, Del Toro, Denis Villeneuvem, Ridley Scott, plus In the Heights which is a Lin-Manuel Miranda film. Plus Bond as the 100/1 longshot.

Tenet was on the top of every Oscar buzz list pre-covid. It was a shoe-in for best picture nomination, just based on the director.

Though more speculation Hemsworth is back to his regular self and not "Fat Thor,"

Set photos show him jacked. Seems like he takes off the weight and is back in fighting shape. His arms look bigger than they did in any previous movies.
