Yup seeing my club trying to power grab domestically and set up a super league that isn’t based of actual merit is upsetting

It’s like they want to push people to lower league football

Too bad my German side has gone full on Leeds circa 10 years ago

Amazing bump. God damn there have been so many "American" takes that show they don't even know how the sport works anywhere where there isn't a franchise model. The "tired of subsidizing the league" is an all-time boomer line which isn't true and makes no sense.

The franchise model is bad and only works in the US because of a few key features of American political economy, as well as some geographical features. Exporting it will absolutely not work.
