Watching the other games the last few days I've noticed that our 2 dudes shoots the 3 ball further away from the 3 point line than any other combo in the country?

SEC tournament a couple shots were on the logo. I have no problem with that if we are knocking them down at a high %.

Deeper range than most. I want to see smart get to the rim. Dude is much better driving then settling.

I don’t know. There have been a lot of deep threes in the tourney already. Kids are just ridiculous with range now.

Yep and it shows it could always have been done, players in the past just didn’t practice them or they knew their coach would pull them if they did that in a game. Steph Curry made it cool.

When he is in rythmn he is more like 65% it's when jacks them up. Rather see him get to the rim. Draw fouls and expose michigan depth.

I feel like you need to replace Smart with Thomas in your claim. Thomas has been shooting wild shoots for a while at a very low percentage. He makes his money at the free throw line because he is great at drawing fouls. He needs to get inside and stop settling. Smart is the best 3 pt shooter on this team and I’d trust him to shoot from deep with the game on the line.

Love your take, Smart at 6-4 likely draws Smith at 5-10, if he can get a step against him he can finish over him and draw fouls or kick for open shots against help. If Smart has one of his better games we’re in great shape.

If only Smart’s 3point attempts were closer in he might lead the SEC, right?

He's shooting over 40% from 3, good for tops on the team and 20th in the country.

He's good off the dribble too, but he's our biggest threat from 3.

They’re both extremely confident which is great. They’re also both driving aggressively which is what we need right now.

Attack
Attack
Attack

In order to beat Michigan we’re going to have to play extremely high tempo and try and get these giants they have winded

You cant deny his 3s are different. Some are well timed and perfect. Others are forced.

Dude has size and ability over any um player. Abuse them. I hope he does.

Last game driving we were getting to the line at will, we should drive and kick all night. Make them foul early and often

I think Days would be clearly the best 3 pt shooter if they, Smart and Trendon, penetrated and kicked out to a wide open either Days or Thomas. When LSU learns to do this, they will be a challenge to beat anybody. Until they do, not so much. While they have been playing well lately, especially on defense, we all have seen that they are capable of losing to any team, anytime. I hope that type of play is in their past and they somehow overcome their size deficiency tonight, and squeak by M somehow.
