Didn't a QB throw the ball 75 yards or so while on his knees? How well did that work out for his career in the NFL?

Arm strength is a minimum standard for NFL QB kinda like being able to lift 25lbs for a minimum physical job. Just because a person can lift 200lb does not mean they are more qualified.

If they'd tested who could throw the furthest backwards Brooks would have won that one too.

I remember that play vs. the 49ers that pass went to Willie Jackson. I know Joe horn was our leading and best receiver but I always thought that Brooks and Jackson had the best chemistry together.

I think I'm more impressed with Flutie's number from that competition. A 39 yr. old QB who stood 5'9", 175 lbs and he slung it 63 yards.

Aaron Brooks was elite at throwing 20 yard forward passes - every other type of pass he was terrible.
