Wasn't enamored during the game, but the refs pretty much called a perfect game. Let the guys play and made a conscious decision to not be the focus attention.

Besides the tackling of chase the first few drives, they called a great game and let guys rip some.

Scoreboard doesn't really indicate how dominant LSU was here. Obviously 17-7 happened, but it was pretty quickly on a couple of big plays. LSU proceeds to outscore them 35-8 and ends up kneeling the ball on Clemson's 5 to end the game. Out gained them by 250 plus yards and won the turnover battle. Clemson honestly had to claw to make this game look respectable at all.

Skalski is a dirty fricker, but his hit on Burrow before the half was clean, but not for a lack of effort. Pretty sure he meant to spear him, but it was all shoulder pads.

It was one of the best days of my life. I completely share your sentiment that it feels like a lifetime ago. Who could have predicted the absurdity that ensued two months later?

Without COVId I don't think it would feel that it was so long ago. Damn COVId has changed our perception. Regardless I have the game permanently saved on my Dish Hopper and even used a high end camcorder to record the screen on my TV and saved to hard drive, burned to a couple discs so I have back ups of my back ups. I even made a version without commercials but I've watched the game at least 5-6 times from start to finish and usually don't FF through them anyway. It never gets old.
