Got an air fryer for Christmas. So far I've made pork chops and fried chicken it and they all came out pretty good.

Tonight I just tossed some boudin in and let me tell you this is a great way to cook up some boudin. Heats it real nice throughout and gives the casing a nice, crisp texture.

What else are you folks using your air fryer for? Any good tips or recipes?

Air fryer boudin dipped in over easy egg yolks for breakfast is my go to.

I use mine for everything.
Love it.

Just got my second one after my first gave up after about 5 years or so.

Try biscuits. You won’t be sorry.

Better for reheating. I like to fry things in the traditional fryer first. Traps the grease in. Air fry isn’t the same, but reheating I think turns out just as good

It is not the same because an Air Fryer is just a convection oven with a catchy marketing name.

Yeah I generally don’t “fry” anything in mine. I never put anything with a batter in it. I use it a ton though for chops, boneless breast, wings, etc. basically a better and easier oven for simple things.

Got an air fryer for Christmas also

So far the best thing I’ve cooked are the Costco (Kirkland) raw frozen wings. Takes about 30 minutes and they come out perfect. 380 for first 25 minutes then 420 for the last 5 to crisp them up

10lbs of wings for about $16

Salmon ... 10 minutes. Seasoned with whatever your preference. Skin is perfectly crispy, and the fish is cooked through, yet moist and not overdone.

As far as junk food, anything frozen is usually good in there ... tater tots, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, etc. My 9 and 10 year olds go to town with that thing. Frozen pizzas are money.

Chimichangas:
Take flour tortilla, fill it with whatever meat and cheese you got on hand, roll it with the ends tucked like a big arse egg roll. Tie it with a piece of butcher string, and spray the whole thing with Pam. Air fry for 7-8 minutes until that bad boy gets golden brown and the tortilla get crispy and flaky.

I think I had it set on 380 degrees and cooked for 7-8 minutes.

That sounds like a damn good idea.
