Gonna try and deep fry a turkey..

My brother and I are gonna try to deep fry one. Any thing we need to know about it? It’s frozen solid but I figure it will unthaw when it hits the hot oil. What are some dos and donts?

Make sure you do it in the kitchen and also make sure the outside of the bird is extremely wet.

Make sure your burner is directly on unsealed cement. Just like crawfish, you want to see some steam. The hands of a small child are great for holding safety lighter to gas just in case the wind kills your flame while you’re dropping.
