The fumble made me give him like a 7.5. That's his biggest issue but hopefully it's a lesson he's learning as a starting QB.

Passing rating went up. Ball security down a few points. Overall, he really got tuned in during second half. Ready to see another good beat down in the Mile High City next week.

Ball security needs to improve but that was a great play by Terrel stripping from behind

He needs to learn that he doesn’t have a glove on his throwing hand which makes it so much harder to hold on to the ball.

Frankly I don’t know how it could have gone much better for him considering it was his first career start. I’m far more optimistic now than I was this morning. Have to think he’ll only improve with more practice reps and more time to build an offense for him.
