I saw it initially during the MSU game. Saw it again during the Missouri game.
Let me be clear, we should beat the frick out of every team in the SEC W except for Auburn (when they are good, they are not this year) and Alabama. We have better recruits then all of the other schools combined. This is a fricking fact.
These plays ARE SOFT. I'm just some white dude that only played high school football but I know soft when I see it. They have all the talent in the world but they aren't dogs.
I'm tired of getting fancy recruits that just want to play for the camera. I don't care if we only recruit 3 stars. I want DOGS on my team. Someone hit my teammate late? I want the team to put a mark on that dude for the rest of the game and somebody going to "repay" him.
No leadership, no one cares. That comes from the players, you can't make coaches be leaders on and off the field. Players have to step up and we have a bunch of betas on offense and defense.
This shite better get fixed quick. Softness is contagious and it's worse than COVID.

I agree with you totally. This is most obvious in the secondary. You cannot win with 165 pound corners starting on your defense. Players such as Flott should not be on the field for LSU.

they have quit, its obvious. They do not care. Maybe something will snap in the offseason but people hoping for a coaching change will be disappointed. I dont think any school is changing anything this year.

Can’t we find some of the lower depth chart guys to at least be physical and assignment sound? I’d take giving up 28ppg with guys who can’t run but aren’t gonna beat themselves and give us effort. Why keep trotting out players who’ve obviously quit and are only out there for themselves? Brandon Taylor and Roman Harper are spot on in what they’re seeing from an effort standpoint.

Go to the LSU sports app. Go to the listen live/on demand tab it should pull up the game from yesterday start playing it and skip towards the end around the 5 hour and 55 min mark

Also OP is spot on. I honestly am done caring, why should I give a shite when the team obviously does not. You dont lose 48-11 to a garbage arse Auburn team unless you really don’t give a shite.

Nailed it OP. It’s obvious when Jamar Chase opted out that whole team was thinking “Can we opt out too?”. Probably should have with the effort and weak arse shite they are playing with. Chalk this up as the year 2020 the gift that’s just keeps on giving. Also Pelini and Linehan have been terrible hires.

Saw the same thing in 2017 when we were turning it down against teams like State

Cox is soft as cotton too, I’m really disappointed in his play after all the hype.
