No, it takes an agreement of four justices to hear a case.
However, this wouldn't be a new case but a motion on an existing case, so ACB wouldn't be involved since she wasn't seated for oral arguments.

Were there oral arguments in this case?
I thought that it was 4-4 to NOT HEAR the case at all. BUT, four wanted to actually hear the case. I could be mistaken.
In any event, my question still stands -- can the Republicans ask for a Motion for Reconsideration on HEARING THE CASE when ACB is seated?

I'm not sure why there are downvotes. There are so many ways to cheat using the "honor" system when counting mail in ballots regardless of post marking. The OP is correct. This gives the libs an exact number to win. Mark my words. Trump will win the election. A week after it will be stolen from him. The ballot counting fiasco will be world news and will show how weak the United States is for allowing leftists to cheat. If the left can get away with something so basic, then Russia and China will have zero problems adding their support for the left.

I thought it was stated that they didn't even have to have a postmark.
There is simply no reason on God's earth that any ballot should be accepted that arrives after November 3rd. If you are mailing in your ballot, it's not like the 3rd snuck up on you. You've had the damn ballot for weeks. It really ain't anyone's fault but your own if you don't get it mailed in time to be received by November 3rd.

The level that they will have to cheat will be so massive that it will be obvious and will be challenged...
I do not like this ruling and I still hope Roberts meets an untimely end but this doesn't give them the edge they need to win...

Excuse my ignorance on post office procedures, but, how difficult would it be to forge postmarks on mail that technically wasn't legally delivered to whatever trunk they need it to be held in?

The only problem for the Dems on that is if they need to manufacture tens of thousands of ballots without duplicating a person who already voted, doing it with workers who won’t blow the whistle on it, and making it look legit. For example if they need 50,000 more to win they’d have to create 70,000 with 20,000 going to Trump. You can’t find 50,000 legit ballots from any area of the country and have it go 100% Biden, so that would be suspicious as frick. They’d have to create some fake Trump ballots for legitimacy
