They act like we have food lines in every city and folks are dying in the street. So uplifting

Well black folks are dying in the street.

Thanks to other black folks mind you, but still.

Progressive run cities have their share of misery. The blame falls squarely on Democrats.

It's a beautiful insight into their minds.

They're all depressed, angry, hopeless people

If they added a sketchy power grid, crap and needles in the street, I'd guess California.

One where most of the country is still under some types of social distancing orders, with businesses shut downs and unemployment rate over 10%.

If y’all think it’s all Yankee Doodle dandy then we live in a different America.

Well things are pretty bad. The worst unemployment rates since 1983. People are struggling. Maybe life is good for you but for the most of us it kinda sucks.

Party of victims who thinks everyone is a victim. America is a nation of optimism and can-do attitude. The DNC convention is devoid of any optimism whatsoever.

From shining light on the hill to this mess?? Don’t think it’s gonna play well

Things are tough for all of us. Not close to troubles of the Great Depression or WWI and WWII etc. They’ve given nothing to get behind. Only we are racist and trump sux.

It's good vs evil at this point. They banking on hate, which is pretty contagious

But it’s never worked. We are optimistic and want to believe we can be lead out of tough times. Historically hate is not a good “movement”

The undertones of the pessimism seem more focused on the fact that America is some irredeemable evil empire that must be rethought entirely to move forward. Problems are inherent to our cultural identity, not merely current difficulties.

It’s extremely sad to see so many people without an ounce of pride for their country, heritage and history. How can you hate where you came from and those who came before you so much?
