Outer Worlds is a fun game, but it isn’t super long if you are looking for something like that. I think it took me around 40 hours and I explored a lot. Dialogue is incredible, I was laughing throughout.
It’s possible to beat the game in like 45 minutes too haha.
The game is best played on XBONE or PS4 as well. I know it’s shitty on switch, I’m sure it’s fine on a rig too.
I probably wouldn’t pay more than $40 for it either. I paid full price because I got it at launch, but probably would have waited for a sale after playing it.

Outer Worlds just felt much too short. About the time you are getting warmed up, the game is over.
It is a fun world to explore if you enjoy reading every random piece of lore in game.

It’s a fun but short game and good start to what’ll likely be a big game franchise in the future.

I really enjoyed it. It doesn’t take terribly long to get through and the story isn’t some groundbreaking narrative, but the companions have interesting personalities and the combat is fun.

This game never grabbed me like the fallout games did. I keep trying and I have it downloaded for another go soon. Not sure what the hump is but it isn't happening right now.

It was fine, but that's it. A lot of hype it got was because people were mad at Bethesda for Fallout 76. I enjoyed that first few hours of it, but then I got bored of it. It's a very cookie-cutter game.

One thing that's driving me nuts is the super small font. I go to a terminal and see 3 of 4 messages that in Fallout I'd read no problem, but none of this seems appealing and I know it's probably for a stupid reason. But I'm not skipping over terminals unless it's quest related.

It's a solid time sink, which it sounds like what you are looking for
Not the most memorable campaign or groundbreaking combat, but it's a quality game with good production value.
