Columbus Dispatch
Why am i not shocked by this? Ohio Democratic Party takes $334k in PPP loans...Ohio Republican Party takes $0. This says something about what the election looks like in Ohio.
Best quotes from the story:
^^^
This part really irritates me. How many small business were forced to close because of this, and yet here these crooks are using this for campaign financing. $334k could have helped a lot of people. Disgraceful!!

"We did not need to apply for these funds. Under the leadership of Chairman Timken, our financial situation is strong, and we were never at risk of not making payroll"
quote:
"The ODP took these funds to use for campaigning which could have gone to small businesses, but at the same time publicly lamented against the program. (Ohio Democratic Chairman) David Pepper is a hypocrite and should pay back these loans immediately"

I think that violates the terms of forgiveness they signed.

Despicable.
America rots while these people host fund raising parties.

They will never pay it back.
I bet most lefties and lefty companies will never pay back the "loans".

It truly is despicable. To think about some of my friends that have had serious financial hardships after being forced to close, then these people are taking loans...$334,000 dollars!!! Again, Ohioans are ready to vote in Nov again!!

I wonder if the Dems took PPP loans in other states. If so, we could be talking millions. That would be terrible optics for the Dems in swing states. I would love the the Trump team to audit this BS corruption.

Some autist with enough time and determination could do this by getting the PPP report for each of the 50 states and searching for terms such as “Democrat” or “DFL”.

Similarly, in Louisiana, millions have gone to JBE’s political plaintiff attorney cronies. Talbot Carmouch received in the $350k-$1m range. Pathetic. All the while stealing millions from the State in legacy lawsuits. Frick JBE.

Florida.
The release Monday of the federal PPP database revealed that the Florida Democratic Party Building Fund applied for and received a loan of between $350,000 and $1 million to secure the jobs of 100 employees.
The Florida Democratic Party plans to renovate a historic building in Tallahassee to create a new headquarters, which it will be naming for former U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson. The building fund was incorporated on April 3, 2019, for the purpose of constructing, owning, and operating the building to serve as the headquarters of the Florida Democratic Party and related political organizations, according to Division of Corporation records.
