Win 7 Blue Screen Help

Just updated some of the internals of my desktop PC this afternoon.
And Ryzen 9 3900X
DDR 4 Ram 2x8 gigs
New motherboard B550 Aorus master
Nvidia 1680ti
I've removed older components like these and reinstalled newer ones many times with zero issue on start up
I have an SSD drive with Windows 7 already loaded. That functioned perfectly before swapping these parts.
I attempt to:
-start in safe mode
-run windows repair
-run windows normally
All result in a blue screen that tells me "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer"
Error code "STOP: 0X0000007E"
Does anyone know what this means and/or have a resolution?

Start it up in safe mode. Delete all the devices, delete the Hdd controller driver last. It will lock up after you delete that one. Reboot and see if it finds the new hardware.
You may get away with just deleting the Hdd controller. Try just that one first.

Never mind. Just saw you tried safe mode. If you can use the old mb to delete the HDd controller driver then try to start it back up on the new MB.
Worst case, put it back with the old mb copy all your files off for backup and run sysprep and pick generalize. Put it back on the new mb and try booting.
I think you could also try booting On the new mb with hiren’s boot disk and remove the drivers that way too.

I guess I'll have to try it.
Problem now is, the PC won't turn on at all.
If I can't figure that out, I may have to get an RMA on the mobo.

So bad news is, this Mobo's drivers are only compatible with Windows 10 that I can see.
Good news is, once I upgrade to Win 10, I don't have to do all the driver bull shite

Yeah you're going to need to move off win 7 regardless. The only time I swapped out a mobo and I had a windows install it made me reactivate it. Think that was win 8 I believe. Just something to keep in mind.

I just did this same type of deal. I had to change the HDD controllers to the generic before switching, as described at the link below.

This, also. Do you have the product key for windows 7? If not, you need to update to Win10, sync your windows to microsoft account (if not already done), and then move to new MoBo. I followed the instructions at this link.

For future reference, I would download Veeam Windows Backup. Free backup tool that allows you to do bare metal restores to completely different hardware.
Also, upgrade to Windows 10 you old man.

I was going to say the Motherboard wasn't compatible with Win7.. but you realized it already.
Hardware manufacturers have gotten very VERY good at locking down hardware to specific OSs now, for instance - as an Enterprise shop, we can't purchase "every" computer that we have the option of buying because even computer manufacturers are locking the MB and Bios to specific versions of Windows, and Windows Enterprise... just fails if I try to install it.
ETA: You will like Win10, it's actually a really good OS
ETAA: Also stop using an OS that has been end of life for 6 months now!

Windows license is attached to the motherboard. If you change the motherboard you'll most likely need a new license.

Y’all are doing something wrong bc this is not a thing, unless your company is trying to cheat the system and upgrade 10 Home machines. Enterprise is an upgrade license from 10 Pro. No 10 pro license, no 10 Enterprise. However, I have imaged several test machines that were brand new 10 Home machines with 10 Enterprise and they all activated with our KMS server and with a MAK. I’m interested to know where it is failing?

Move to Win10. You'll be use to it in a day or so and you'll regret not doing it sooner.
