If you are confused, watch. Unmasking is only ok in 3 instances..which he explains here. Where does Joe Biden fit, and who with the NSA authorized the unmasking??

Request must be made on the basis of your official duties
Unmasking only applies to the one person requesting it, not every person who received the report

My understanding is that there probably was no reason that many people should of been unmasking in this instance? Only those responsible for investigating needed to know the name, correct?

1 Has to be requested as part of your official job description. (is, you can't just ask because you are curious.
2. Has to be needed to understand the report you are looking at.
3. Request and reason for asking must be in writing.
Has to be approved by one of 20 people who have ability to unmask.
Tucker laid it out as well tonight. No reason for anyone outside of intelligence community to request. Here, you had random ambassadors, Obama chief of staff...Joe Biden. They had to have given a reason..and it is in writing. We need to see their justification for the request...which I suspect will be coming soon...and I bet it will be obvious this was domestic spying....and completely illegal.

Why aren’t y’all focusing on the Chief of Staff?
Clearly it’s plausible deniability by Obama but won’t be in the public perception. GOP should focus on Obama pulling strings. Y’all are missing the fricking target.

The general public has no idea what this would even be about. Why was the guy wearing a mask?
