Any rumors on a Hill extension?

We either get him for 4.641 mil in 2020, or we get a 1st round pick in exchange for him. We also gain 4.641 mil in cap space if another team takes him from us.

It's a possibility, but I just don't see it happening. Maybe if they thought he was going to be the starter next year.

they are still able to sign a new contract till a certain date.

The Saints are done along the lines of contract talk with TH7 unless some team offers him a contract. They have him locked in at a price they are happy with.

I could see the opposite actually. He only counts less than 5M this year and you keep future flexibility. He might not want it yet because if this is Brees last year, then he has leverage of driving up the potential price from Nola them as their potential starter, not just a gadget/future possible starter del.

you can spin things any way desired. taysom hill has hardly made any real monies to this point. he has a injury history years back and risks his body as much as anyone with the style and usage the saints use him. he could desire to lock up longer term guarantees.
