Would rather queen, but if I had to choose out of those two I would say Delpit. I don't think I could handle watching Fulton anymore, dude made me think he had a season ending injury every game.

He had a good game against alabama. But other games through the season he would rush too far upfield and lose contain. As I said, super athlete and he can even drop back in coverage, but like that play against Texas where the RB dropped a TD pass, he often lets plays slip by him. Not that he won’t be a nice player, but he gives me a Martez Wilson vibe that I don’t want to use a first round pick on.

All I know is I saw that man run down Ceedee Lamb in the playoff game, and Lamb ran a 4.5 and will be a 1st round WR. Chaisson will make plays sideline to sideline for anyone that drafts him. I would worry about his injury history though, but if he's still there in the 2nd round, you don't pass on a pass rusher like that. Hell, even at the bottom of the first round you have to think about it. Pass rushers don't grow on trees.

the only two LSU players I would want to see the Saints take at 24 are Queen or Jefferson. For me, Chaisson, Fulton, and Delpit are all huge risks that may under achieve. I see Queen and Jefferson as can't miss prospects.

Can we stop with the Fulton and Chaison talk? I’m an LSU fan, but Fulton shouldn’t be our pick. He’s going to be a PI machine and is best suited for the slot and will be a PRob at best. And Chaisson is a one trick pony that has terrible instincts. He will be lucky to have a Mingo type career. He would make three terrible plays then one great play. He lost contain more than anyone I’ve ever seen at LSU. That won’t work in the NFL.
What fricking games were you watching??

Chaisson was a frickin stud from the Alabama game on.

He also missed a full season of development.

Enjoy a little foresight. His best football is ahead of him.

You don’t get to pick freakish edge rushers with a refined game in the 20s. Those guys go top 3, like Chase Young

Chaisson has all-pro potential. There’s a reason he is mocked first round everywhere without awesome college production

I love LSU and I think Fulton is good but he will get a lot of PI penalties in his career to start off, needs some time to develop but will be solid imo. Safety isn’t our biggest need but it’s not necessarily a strength on the team either. Williams is solid, Malcolm Jenkins is old and less rangy than vonn bell. Delpit would fit in our defense perfect. He plays all over the field. Last year he was a surefire top 12 pick. He wasn’t fully healthy 2019 but still won the Thorpe award, albeit undeserving. But If he’s there middle to late second I’d trade next years 2nd and this years 5th for a player that could be a lot like J. Adams. Patrick queen would be a good pick too. Idk if he will be a STAR but I think he’s a sure thing as a starting linebacker. Could also Get Thaddeus moss in the 3-5 rd range

There were a few games whereas the absence of a true #2 WR stood out. This is a top heavy WR draft. Mike is already ridiculous enough. Imagine another legitimate WR threat to influence some of the db pressure away from him. So it’s neither for me...1st rnd = WR....and no, Emmanuel Sanders is not a long term answer.

I don’t disagree with you. I was high on wide receiver specifically Jefferson until we signed Sanders. I just see it as not as much of a need for next year. Would still be ecstatic to get Jefferson. Not as high on Ruggs, Shenault, Raegar, Ayuck, Higgins but would be ok if they liked one of those guys and took one. I trust the FO’s draft decisions even if I might complain about them later lol. Like the Denzel Mims guy as a wild card and he is a late riser.

I have warmed up to the thought of picking Delpit because then we could let Marcus Williams walk after next year. I still don’t like Fulton and would rather CJ Henderson if available. Still would prefer to draft queen over both Fulton or Delpit

Is neither an option?
