In the 1992 primary race, Clinton had only won Georgia prior to Super Tuesday. Heard Michael Berry a bit on the way home reviewing the history of the 1992 race. His unlimited funds could easily give him the advantage. These early primaries don’t really mean anything except they rid the race of the low funded candidates.

I think it still will be Biden. He wins South Carolina and builds some momentum going into Super Tuesday, where he’s popular with African-Americans. Bloomberg’s about to get torched by all sides.

Bill Clinton's main asset was having GHWB as an opponent.

Anyone comparing a presidential race in 1992 to a presidential race in 2020 has completely lost the plot

Bloomberg would have to get millions of dollars from China if he wanted to pull a Bill Clinton!!

LINK

Of course they covered it up with a sex scandal. Go figure!

Unpossible, IMO.

Sure, if they were allowed to cheat Biden is who it would go to, but it appears that some undercover good guy types are blowing up their methods of rigging the primaries. That's what we saw in Iowa, IMO. Someone on the outside unrigged that shite.

My guess is the George Soros types are shitting bricks right about now. They're being forced to play it straight. But they can't do that. They're gonna be forced to try and rig it anyways and it is going to blow up in their faces time and time again all the way up til the General Election.

Bernie Sanders is gonna get the nomination, IMO. And people are going to be losing their fricking minds over it.

Super Tuesday is 3 days after South Carolina. There is not enough time to build momentum which is compounded by the fact that the SC primary is on the weekend

Yeah, I know, but in order to pull a "Bill Clinton" he has to win the general as well.

So what is the draw for Bloomberg over Trump? What real policy does Trump have that he would run against?

It will be down to him and Bernie. Nobody else is credible.

I give it to Bloomberg bc the Ds need the money. And their Establishment is way more ruthless and corrupt than the GOPe.

Either way, the Ds are Fuct.

If Bloomberg is nominated, the Bernie Bros will go apeshit. It will cause 2 problems. They will be like the Evangelicals and stay home like the Es did for Romney. Making matters worse for the Ds is that the Bernie Bros will riot. They will go full Bernie Bro and light shite on fire and throw dangerous leftist/socialist temper tantrums and make anyone who calls themselves “independent” terrified of the D party.

If Bernie is nominated, “democrats” who call themselves moderates will either stay home bc they can’t vote for a communist or Trump, or vote Trump.

It will not be Pocahontas, Klobachar, Booty, or any of the other worthless morons left;

1) The OP is talking about the dem primary.

2) In the GE, the biggest factor leading to Bill Clinton winning was having Perot in the race because most Perot voters would have gone with Bush if Perot wasn't in the race

Amen. Shades of '68. Now, I'm not looking forward to anyone getting seriously hurt or killed, but I will enjoy the chaos in their camp as opposed to (more normally) ours.
