I’d pull for it if any of the films remotely resembled the Universal classics. So far I haven’t been interested.

Elisabeth Moss is a Scientologist and that's all I can think about when I look at her now

Maybe people should check it out??

The trailers didn't look that exciting but a number of movies I really liked/loved had uninteresting trailers.

Bad Boys for Life is the most recent example for me. Film was good but the trailer was so generic or something.

Not worth the ticket price when it’s paint by numbers drivel with an actress I’ve just never found believable in her roles.

I'm assuming he is simply invisible but can be felt. So, for example, to enter a room he has to open the door etc.? So, essentially he can be trapped.

So, you've seen it?

Horror films rarely get such enthusiastic praise from so many types of critics. Is it possible that this isn't as paint-by-numbers as the trailers suggest?

this is a real life RT review by a guy named Phillip de Semylen

It's a #MeToo horror film that couldn't be any more timely if it shuffled into a courtroom with a Zimmer frame.

Kevin Bacon was in a film called Hollow Man that was inspired by The Invisible Man.
I found that movie to be entertaining at times but that movie was from 20 years ago.

A writer used some clickbait-y language. What's your point? Movie must be bad because one critic sucks?

This movie definitely could be bad, but I'll hold out hope that the director of Upgrade has something up his sleeve.

It appears to be yet another in the recent line of "woke" horror films. The antagonist is an evil white male and the hero is a "powerful" woman. It's also playing to the Me Too crowd because, apparently, no one believes the Elizabeth Moss character, much the same way that women were not believed when they came forward with accusations of sexual abuse.

Establishing Adrian Griffin as being evil from the beginning is a direct contradiction to the original source material and all of the previous films. In the novel and the classic film, he is slowly driven insane by the drug he uses to make himself invisible.
