I actually played some more last night. Love the extra costumes and such that you can get from the DLC
Still can't figure out the quest I'm missing though, weird.

I got introduced via the FFXIV crossover raid.
Really amazeballs story. Didn't think a hack and slash could so eloquently dip into philosophy. As discussed the OST is incredible. Somewhat long to get to Ending E but the payoff is well worth it. Yoko-Taro is a weird fricking dude but I dig it.
Bout shite my pants at the first Engels fight.

Ending W and E are all that I have left. Kinda terrified of ending E though, not sure I even want to attempt it....

I'm about to start the first one on the PS3 pretty soon. Anyone played both?
Good, good.
Now you just have to fall more in love with the series. Go back and completely beat both Drakengard and Drakengard 3. Then you'll know the whole story.
ETA: Ys Origin is also excellent. Good choice on that one.

Well, Ending W shouldn't take you much time. You just have to die in the tutorial lol.

Yeah, I've read what I have to do. I just HATE the beginning of the game...you know, Nier Automata the shmup! Like a lot of others, I died at the beginning too. Been haunted by that very fact ever since
And the highest level of all of the DLC arenas are just ABSURD, especially the Flooded City...I read up on what is involved with that one, just absolutely impossible

I've only heard of this game because of this forum but I'm definitely intrigued. It looks like a great game.

Just play it while online and you have basically unlimited lives via help from ghosts of other players.
I don't remember if that's an exact representation of what happens, but I know I played it while online and it was easily doable.

I'm concerned about losing my save files, that's what I'm terrified of. I just know I could do something wrong and say YES to that

I mean, you're giving up your save to assist the journey of another player yet to try. It's a noble thing and a lovely nod to the first Nier game.
But if you're that worried, then just upload your save to PS+ lol.
