Cantrell is a complete dumbass, but this goes to show how little firefighters actually do.

I havent ridden on a float since I was 5. Does this happen? I cant recall seeing a parade stop and fire trucks rush up to put out a flaming float

I’ve ridden and attended parades every Mardi Gras for 30+ years and I have never seen a fire that required NOFD assistance. The truck trailing is unnecessary and just a perk for NOFD.

To be clear, it's not that the firemen are refusing to roll at the end of the parade, it's that the fire admin / city hall is telling them they cannot.

I’ve seen this guy sleeping outside of Manning’s at 5 am multiple times.

Either he likes to drink or he’s homeless.
