Utah trades Dante Exum and two seconds to Cleveland for Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson has had a decent season so far off the bench. Utah needs the scoring. Not a bad move

About 10 minutes after the trade was announced Josh Hart posted this gif
Before you read too much into though, Hart makes a decent amount of fan like reaction to sports tweets so I'm sure it's about trade season opening.

Yeah, definitely about trade season opening..
Hart, along with Ingram, Zion, NAW, Hayes are pretty much the only ones I could see as "safe"..
Unlikely moves would be Jrue, JJ, Favors, Lonzo
The rest are open season
I don't see us making a big move unless it's moving a Jrue, likely we may do a Miller for someone swap

Shamit from BSS made an interesting point that the team may be concerned that a Didi not under contract with the Pels is a Didi that might get paid more than the rookie minimum in Europe this summer. I don’t know if that was his own speculation or if team sources mentioned the possibility, but if it’s a concern cutting Okafor or doing a 2 for 1 trade with Moore and Miller should happen in the next week or so.

I mean, this season is a full rebuid now, right? So, why wouldn't we bring Didi to Nola?
We didn't initially because we thought that we were a playoff contender and we had the guys we thought we needed to win.
But now, Moore, Frank, Miller, and Okafor are all pretty useless, and I think that we want to get rid of Lonzo as well.
But we don't need to trade anyone to bring in Didi. We can just cut Frank.

Gotta keep working on Lonzo, tonight showed his potential. If I’m the pelicans I’m keeping him and trying to develop him. This whole season should be about developing our young talent.

A package of Miller and Moore makes too much sense. I could see something like those 2 for Dieng from Minnesota if Minnesota throws in a lightly protected first. I thought I read that Miller cannot be traded until 1/15 though.
