Hypothetical? If Utah makes the comeback
What’s the margin of victory in the semifinals?
I say 30 easily

Why I want the number 1 seed
I’d much rather play Utah or Oregon than Clemson round1

Is there a mercy rule in FBS Football?

Even if they did at this point committee would take OU/Baylor anyways.
I think they were going that route anyway

They definitely will now. Utah looks like an average team.

I think OU will be just as tough as Clemson.

Kinda think the Tigers need to get past Georgia first-.....everyone thought Utah was going to be the team! The Tigers could get best tomorrow!

All of the not wanting to play Clemson talk needs to stop.... I wanna play them actually.
If we want Joe to go out being in consideration of a single season all-time great, he needs to play the best teams he can...
Winning the SEC chip, beating the past National champion and then beating his former school/alma mater, coupled with the strength of schedule and competition he's faced, all while putting up historic numbers would garner such praise...
I strongly believe Joe is a Top 5, single season QB of all time. And climbing....
Think about it, look at Dwayne Haskins numbers from last year.... Phenomenal. Didnt realize he put up those gaudy stats (4800+ passing yards, 50 TD's, 70.1 completion %), but no one remembers nor considers him to have had one of the greatest years in college football history for a single season.
No one remembers Colt Brennen, Graham Harrell, BJ Symon ... But everyone will remember Tebow or Charlie Ward or Deshaun Watson, Matt Leinart, Vince Young, etc.. Why???? Because they played in epic games and won national championships against the best. All the while, putting up historical seasons!!
I want Clemson and Ohio State. We beat Bama. We will beat Georgia. That will be the 4 best teams this year, sans maybe, maybe not Oklahoma but Ohio State takes care of that part of the argument in the other playoff game..
That will be the next, supposed best 5 teams in the nation and WE WOULD HAVE PLAYED THEM ALL IN A GIVEN YEAR!!!!
Epic finish in one of the playoff games to win a chip, possibly against his former team, to boot no less, and Joe Burrow will be mentioned amongst the greatest QB's of all time. His story is about as perfect as can be for overcoming, lack of respect, odds, adversity and then reaching heights not many accomplish. To put in proper perspective, he will win the Heisman 2 years after being the 3rd string QB at another school, having a shot to start but fate had different plans .... You couldnt script this better in Hollywood!
I for one want to see him play the best to see greatness at its greatness against greatness!!! Stop being scared, enjoy the show, Joe is just fulfilling his fate. We are all witness to something Im not so sure we will get to see again in our lifetime as Tiger fans...
