Ok you still haven’t given a “scheme” and we have loaded the box at times. We’ve also been a top 15 team against the run pretty much all season. We’ve only had 2 bad games vs the run all year so the logic is ignore 8 games and use the outliers to make a judgment on the run D?

You have exposed your ignorance. The live stream from the locker room alone should have let you know that what a coach says in public is not the same as he says in private. A coach can not throw his team under the bus when politicking for a playoff spot.

No, I am not. A head coach wears different hats. When talking to the media he wears one hat, when addressing his players he wears another. You don't throw anybody under the bus in public. That's a good way to create dissention and animosity with players. If you make negative comments in public about a particular group you are separating them from the team aspect. You can say something like, "we could have done better on stopping the run." Or something of that affect, but you must be careful when pointing to a particular person or group. Behind closed doors there's a different way to address issues.

Good leaders don't pile on and smash their team when things go bad. They back off a bit. When things go really well, they bring up negatives to keep humility and prevent complacency.
Even Saban does this.
