Very true, but he still gets to wear all 6 championship rings to show recruits what he and Bama are all about.

We need to finish this season all the way so Saban can’t use that advantage as much either. Beybey will be able to tell recruits in his 2nd full year as HC he brought a title home also just like Satan.

Saban is telling Boutte, an LSU commit from New Iberia, that he can go to LSU and be good but that he could come to Alabama and be Great....that he could win the Heisman trophy...Boutte has been making a lot of trips to Bama recently but his family are still big time LSU fans.... to be continued....we will see come signing day..

If Boutte goes to Bama after last weekend, I'm not sure we could have done anything to keep him.

I'm pretty sure select coaches are saying such things to select coaches. Yeah, it's negative recruiting.... so what. I love it. Roll Tide What? frick You! It makes a nice contrast with the high-energy Orgeron and young Brady/Aranda.

More than direct references to Saban, however, they will be pounding the assistant carousel over there. Most recruits have a closer bond/contact with their position coach (or designated recruiter). That turnover is a big deal IF the 'shine' is knocked off Saban. In the past they've been able to say 'don't worry about the DC change, we have Saban'. If even a little bit of that sparkle is gone, that loses most of it's effect.
