20 years in the making, LA gets its poetic justice Saturday. O delivers. Joe wins Heisman

Saban brought us back.
Saban betrayed us.
Saban sold his soul to the devil, and chickens have come home to roost.
6 years of zero offense under Miles. The program was stale, the games were frustrating, and the fans were pissed.
Then LSU found its savior. First, Jimbo. Then Herman. Scorned by our top choices, we get “stuck” with “one of us” in Orgeron.
Orgeron was dismissed and mocked (by myself and 99% of this board).
“Shrimp boat captain! Yaw yaw! Troy loss! 5-7!”
LSU was fricked!
But fate had something else in store. And it’s so beautiful:
Poetic justice. In the form of the overlooked and disrespected ED frickING ORGERON.
Louisiana might be 49th out of 50 in most rankings, but I’m DAMN PROUD to be from Baton Rouge. Those rankings aren’t shite bc Louisiana is absolutely one of a kind. LSU football is at its best when the program is Louisiana-centric, with a fence around OUR state. And that’s what we did. Led by Mr. “One Of Us” Himself.
On Saturday, order is restored. LSU locks in its spot in the CFP and Joey from Da Bayou Burreaux wins the Heisman trophy.

WE RIDE!

Coach O has definitely shown that true "frick Everyone Else Who Doubts Us" mentality that make our state great since his return.

I'm pretty hyped for this game.
I'm now conditioned to believe that we automatically lose to Alabama, but it's somewhat different this year. I actually feel like we could waltz out of BDS with a hard fought victory.

Almost as much as the thrill of winning a National Championship, I look forward to the day when Coach Ed Orgeron is vindicated and receives the respect he deserves. It may not be Saturday, and we may not get a spot in the CFP this year, but it's clear he's doing the right things to get us there in the near future.
