yes, i browsed the thread at the top. it's a bit overwhelming.

my question is: i plan to get a firestick or roku. what are some free streaming apps I could add that yall enjoy/recommend?

We mostly watch locals, sports and some other random channels (that we can access with a normal streaming service subscription)

make a free plex account and get the plex app on there.

let me know your plex username or email and i will add you to my server.. my server is rather large and constantly growing in content.

I just enjoy helping people out as much as I can.

I have been casting the baseball games since 2009, long before they were easier to access now.

I have a really awesome gaming computer (and I don't even game.) I use it for my plex server. I also have tremendous fiber internet now, so I also like to make the most out of it. I do this for my friends and family. I had collected over 10k movies to my server over the past decade, but I recently lost it all due to faulty power supply cables. That really bummed me out. I am in the process of building my server back up to what it once was. I plan to make backups of my rips/data this time around.

I've had at least 20 different users at once on plex and haven't had any issues crashing or bogging down. I actually want to test and see just how many I can host at once without any issues. I actually have cable tv and other means to access watching my own content, so I am not even a cord cutter. I really only personally use my own plex for a few shows that I have set to record to plex. I use a cablecard to record my content straight to plex via hdhomerun prime. I love this feature of live tv/dvr through plex so much.

I would never charge for my services. Regardless how you feel about it, there is an actual difference in sharing your content freely and then making money off of it. I'm not one to charge to help any ways. Sometimes I do wish I could take in donations to help with certain costs, but atm my server is no where near what it once was.

TL/DR, I just enjoy helping my friends and family with this sole expertise of mine.. as well as fellow users of TD, especially LSU fans..

Tubi tv, IMDB and Sony Crackle are free apps with movies and tv shows.

On fire devices just browse through the apps and you can see what is available.

I don't know about roku and apps offered.

.....

Yeah I thought it was an odd question. Why do you share with people? Isn't that part of what makes us human? It tends to come back around in the end. But even if it doesn't, it feels good just to do it.

Yes Cinema and any other app/apk has to be downloaded onto the firestick. I dont use a vpn. My ISP doesnt give a shite because I have the internet package to let me stream everything. My IPTV didnt work with the vpn so I dont use it. If you use Kodi people recommend it but no point in Kodi with Cinema.

You sound like a great guy, but be careful. If you are ripping movies and recording shows to recast, that is NOT your content. Not even to share freely.

Cinema HD is OK, but TeaTV is way ahead of it in terms of flawless integrations with realdebrid and trakt.tv
